TWO ENGINES - Price Reduced.
FIRST ENGINE - Less than 400 miles since rebuild. Originally built by Brad Peters. Ran top 5 in SRL Southwest Tour Series @ Kern & Irwindale with a rookie driver. Engine freshened up by Bill Loe (rings, bearings, timing chain, exhaust valves & valve springs only). Engine since brand new has less than 1,200 miles on it. Has two tour races and two late model (30 lap twin) events since rebuild (less than 400 miles).
Was going to have Peters go through it, but being a used engine, felt it would be better to reduce the price accordingly and let the new owner do it themselves so there is no doubt in what they’re getting. Peter’s engines typically bring between $12,000 and $16,000+ used. Pricing this at $8,000 O.B.O. Could be run several more races if on a budget or take it straight to Peters and have him freshen it up. Highly recommend keeping with Brad Peters.
No headers. One SPD header got damaged. Will include the other one, if you want to have it matched up and save a few bucks just buying one header.
Dry sump & lines, water pump, pulley's, etc. included. This engine was built with all the best stuff available at the time (Peter's will do no less). All-Pro heads. Over $35,000 when new.
SECOND ENGINE- LTR Engine. Solid engine with Brodix Heads. Only 50 Irwindale laps since rebuild by Bill Loe. Per Bill's dyno, it's within 15-18 HP of the Peter's engine above. Comes fully dressed (Alternator, water pump, dry sump pump, power steering pump, etc. 390 carb included. (No headers)
Also will include a new 750 that can be converted to CRA rules for the next Showdown. Everything on both engines match up exactly, easy engine swap if necessary. Pricing at $9,000.
