here's the updated correction
I have a new LSX 454 that was going in a project car. However due to life taking over, my plans have changed and I need to sell this awesome motor. This LSX will put out 700hp+ with the GM cam and 725hp+ with my custom cam on 91 octane. A similar setup has ran a 400 shot of NOS for the last 4 years and competed in 1/2 mile and 1 mile events as well as drifting and drag racing in a Z06 vette. His whp was nearly 1120 whp. That setup was not for the faint of heart!! I also have an Edlebrock supercharger for this motor to run a high CR setup like the Aussies do that'll make over 1000 hp at the motor on mild boost for sale for $5700. If you need a new trans/tq converter that can handle the power listed above just let me know.
If you're looking at this then you know that this engine is bulletproof.
For sale is the following -
1 new GM LSX 454 purchased 4 weeks ago. The heads were immediately removed and sent off to be ported/milled in order to obtain a 400 cfm at .700 lift and then milled to get an 11.4 CR
1 new ported MSD Atomic LS7 Intake but I also have a FAST LS7 intake as well if you prefer?
1 new black NW 102mm throttle body
1 new custom spec’d cam (proprietary specs) not installed yet as the GM cam is still installed.
Here’s the cost breakdown - all parts are new!!
10,981 LSX 454 engine
980 MSD intake
250 porting the intake
$500 NW throttle body
$1300 for the head work (porting and milling)
$400 for the spec’d cam that'll make 725+ if installed in place of the GM cam.
In addition, you have options. You can purchase just the engine with the ported heads for 12k or engine plus heads and intake etc.
The engine is currently at the builder/installer in Tempe, AZ.
I also have a new supercharger for this motor for $5700. It's a new Edelbrock 15490 E-force (see pics) Universal SC for LS7 motors and should provide a 40% increase on mild boost. The engine is expected to be around 700hp N/A so with the SC the engine should be around 980-1080hp.
