This is a very unique car currently being used for a few track days a year. The car can also be used in the PCA GT1 class, Time Trials, 25-Hours of Thunderhill, etc.
Current owner is selling the car for medical reasons. The door bars were modified to make entry/exit easier, but can easily be brought back to race specifications.
This car started out as a 911 and still utilizes the 911 chassis, so it is a very lightweight car. The sub-frames were updated to 993 sub-frames and suspension with full coilovers and adjustable sway bars. The engine is out of a 964, and has been twin turbocharged. Finally, the body was upgraded with composite bodywork to replicate a 996 RSR.
The ECU is a programmable Megasquirt system and currently has two maps. One tuned for 400whp and one for 500 whp, giving a very impressive power-to-weight ratio that allows the car to achieve lap times at High Plains Raceway below 1:52.000.
The engine is currently disassembled for a rebuild, so it can be rebuilt to your specifications, or you can put another engine in the car, including a V8 conversion, etc.
The car was repainted and had new graphics applied when the current owner bought it in 2014. The car was then thoroughly gone through and set-up by 3R Racing, where the car is currently maintained and stored. There are too many new and rebuilt parts to list. Please contact 3R Racing at [email protected]
