2017 Ford Focus RS
For sale is our 2017 RS, with extensive modifications for track handling performance, and engine modifications which were designed to yield a long lasting, safe build. No accidents, no incidents, no body work, no story. A car that was extensively modded by the best professionals to perform at HPDE days, while keeping it street legal for a fantastically fun-to-drive car. This is the fastest track prepped Ford Focus RS that I have ever seen, and regularly beats cars 5-10x the price. We have other faster cars, but this is the most laugh-out-loud, fun-to-drive, safe-to-drive car I have ever owned. I think it is ideal for a buyer who wants to do some track days as a beginner/intermediate driver and also wants to blow minds/have fun on the street.
Car is being stored on the rack at our preferred shop in Sparks (Reno), Nevada and can be seen on site during normal business hours (please contact me first).

Car was purchased and first licensed in California in February 2017
Garaged for its entire life with us. Was a California car until June 2018, and Lake Tahoe until present. Not a daily driver for us. Only driven in the rain a handful of times in CA, and never driven in freezing/snow conditions.
When car was used for HPDE days, synthetic oil change, brake fluid flush, etc., after every event.
The car is extremely clean, and has been tuned and modded by 5150 Racing in Orange County, suspension modded by Vorshlag/MCS with installs from Heinz Geitz in Carlsbad, and more recently meticulously maintained by Geared Performance in Sparks, Nevada.

Extra set of 4 identical Forgestar five spoke wheels for a total of 8 strong, lightweight 18x9.5’s.
Extra set of DBA T3-4000 rotors
Extra set of Ferodo DS1.11 pads
OEM front seats, back seats, seat belts, all interior panels. Lots of other original parts.
2 way adjustable MCS coilovers (divorced in the back) provide improved lateral grip, and coupled with special offset Forgestar wheels, allow for 275x35 r18 tires, with a massive increase in lateral and braking grip. iPhone accelerometer shows consistent 1.1 g lateral grip.
Tuned for E30 and 91 pump gas by 5150 racing – dyno’d at 310 whp, 358 ft*lbs (E30) on 5150’s Mustang Dyno. People have told me that dyno undermeasures true performance. Whatever – it’s very fast. Please look at build list for modifications. Design intent was to deliver increased power when compared with stock, without compromising engine internals or clutch/drivetrain.
Reason for sale: we’ve moved on to other cars of interest, and we need the room in the garage.

Can be switched E30 to 91 and reverse with steering wheel controls - no accessport required. (This is really handy)
