Shelby GT500 modified for handling and fun! My GT500 was built to be the ultimate canyon carver or street legal road race car. It’s got a bigger TVS Supercharger on it, along with a boost a pump, a big cold air intake, big injectors, a giant heat exchanger, and a dyno tune done by my shop JBA here in San Diego. I worked with those folks along with Sam Strano to dial in the handling too. It has KW coilovers, new upper and lower control arms, a fays2 watts link, and bigger sway bars. It’s by far the best handling late model Mustang I’ve ever driven. We also tuned iit fairly conservatively. It puts out over 550hp and ft lbs of torque at the wheels which is just on this side of too much for twisty roads and road course work. It also comes with three sets of wheels and tires. The stock wheels have Nitto NT05 drag radials and Michelin Pilot Sports, the street wheels are 285 18” NT01s on 18x10 wheels. The fancy wheels are custom offset Forgeline CF5s in 18x12 with Hoosier/Conti Superspeedway slicks. It also has an RXT Macleod Clutch. I was going to hit the interior and do a cage but never got around to it- so it still has the stock interior. (You’ll get a Momo Drift Steering wheel too if you want). I LOVE this car. It has a torque and hp curve like a table. It will out handle anything. I recently test drove a GT350 thinking I’d buy one- and it felt soft slow and anemic compared to my GT500. I’m only selling because I am bored and want to get a 911 or a Pantera. I’m sure I’ll regret it. I’ve had a lot of fun cars- and this one is the best. The graphics advertise my bike shop- and of course we will remove them! Lots more I’m probably forgetting. I’ve got a ton of money invested in this thing- the guys at JBA did all the work etc.
