I am looking for my Father's old front engine dragster. The car left Iowa around 1990 and headed for the Chicago area as a turn key injected Alky car. “Hemi Eddie” and Will Foehring ran it for a few years. Dwain Ehlinger ran it next as injected Nitro, making changes to the rear axle and body. He sold it around 2004 to a guy on the East coast. It was last seen with that owner at Bowling Green running a B&M supercharger and had a blue and green flamed shorty body. I believe it stayed an early Hemi.
I would be very appreciative of any and all information about previous and current owners. I have photos from the 1990's to help identify it. The front axle has a unique "valve spring" suspension system. It is believe to be an R&B Automotive chassis around 165" wheelbase. Also, the two rollbar hoops are fairly close to each other, like it was converted from a 3 point to a five point at one point. My goal is to purchase it when the current owners are finished having fun with it.
I prefer emails, so I can keep track of the information. Telephone calls would be accepted as well. I do not answer numbers I do not know, so leave a message and I will call you back.
