The 1968 Dodge Dart GT is a terrific muscular-looking compact, and so it's the perfect place to invest thousands $$$$ into making it a serious street machine. But more than just pure power, they also took their time to make this coupe a looker.

The Darts really had a terrific body. There are crisp lines with blocky styling, and the fenders extend an extra few inches front and rear. The result is a coupe that looks larger and more imposing than the rest in its class. And highlighting these lines is an awesome custom paint package. Both shades of green and blue could be described as electric. But what's really impressive is a custom tribal graphic that's used as the dividing line for the two-tone. It's true artwork, and so it's great to have such straight panels for a canvas. Mirror-like chrome bumpers, complete trim, and an awesome-looking grille give you the classic brightwork package. But what we bet impresses you the most is the steel hood with the scoop so big it looks like it wants to inhale all the lesser cars on the road. And the American Racing Hopster-style wheels unite the full package with a big shine and an aggressive 17/18-inch front/rear stance.

The interior was built for speed, but there was also plenty of comfort thrown into the mix, too. It starts with a fresher setup from Legendary interiors. There's a nice clean style and even an upgraded AM/FM/CD/XM stereo w/USB for the best in driving music. Front bucket seats and a center console are a proper driver's setup. And the classic Mopar steering wheel gives you a clear view of the full AutoMeter gauge package with large speedo and tach.

The engine bay makes sure the motor takes center stage. Those smooth painted fender walls funnel your attention to the clean and mean V8 in the middle. This starts with Mopar's hardy 360 cubic-inch motor that has been bored .30 over. It's been given go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock air gap intake, and an electronic ignition with HP coil. It also has the right supporting pieces, like a Champion aluminum radiator and the battery moved to the trunk for better weight distribution. The Hooker long tube headers add power while also contributing to the rumble from the Flowmaster Super 44s on the dual exhaust. Power is sent to stout TCI-built Torqueflite A727 three-speed automatic with 2800 stall. Just to make sure you get off the line and stay hooked to the pavement, there's a Mancini Racing rear end with Yukon axles. And the mini-tubbed rear means extra-wide rear rubber to help bring the power to the pavement. Frame connectors, a Firm Feel power steering box, and front disc brakes are all there to give this coupe a strong feeling on the road.

Complete with restoration photos, this Dart is an impressive custom with all the right standout features. Don't miss your chance at this shining and powerful hardtop. Call today!!!
