CLEANEST 2009 CHALLENGER SRT8 IN THE NATION? If not it’s in the top ten, one owner car.
I drove this Challenger out of the show room floor new in 2009. I was determined to make it a blown 426 Hemi when I bought it and that’s exactly what I did. This was one of the first Hell Cat’s before there was a Hell Cat! At 745 HP and 750 Ft Lb. of torque it’s an awesome machine!
I put a new motor in it in May of 2012. The car had 18,763 miles at the time. The car has 23,829 miles at present (5,066 miles on the current engine since rebuild)
Please look at the detail sheets I have provided for costs and specifics, but here is a synopsis of what I have done.
ENGINE: is a 426 cu in (7 liters Approx.), K1 4330 Crankshaft, K1 H-Beam Connecting Rods with ARP bolts, Clevitt 77 Bearings Moly Rings and Spiral Locks, and 5/16 Magnum Pushrods. Custom Grind Camshaft (ground on a 113-degree lobe separation: faster opening & more efficient ramp profile, 1.6 ratio rocker arms and beehive valve springs, Hydraulic roller Tappets (duration 260/264 lift 547/550). Stage II Ported Cylinder Heads. Winona Multi-Angle/Radius designed 4 angle seat and fully prepped guides. PSI Valve Springs and Machined Caps & Locks.
Vortech Supercharger (presently detuned to 5 PSI approx.)
Dynatech Headers with Free Flow Cats and Corsa Extreme Exhaust.
SUSPENSION: FULLY ADJUSTABLE EIBACH SUSPENSION (springs, anti-sway bars and shock) The ride is tight!
Hurst Shifter and Billet Catch Can.
It also comes with a set of Micky Thompson Drag radials (2 Front & 2 Back) on their own rims.
All in all, this has to be one of the cleanest 2009 Challengers on the market.
You may ask why I’m selling it. The answer is; My priorities have changed and I’m not using it like I used to. This car needs someone to run it not just sit in a garage.
