Chevy Steel Crank, Eagle H Beam rods, forged flat top piston, 9.8 to 1 comp ratio, Chevy iron oval port heads, Holley strip dominator intake, comp 686 solid roller camshaft, comp roller lifters, comp pushrods, crane gold race rockers and stud girdle, fabricated valve cover, power master alternator and starter, hooker super comp ceramic coated 2-1/8 headers, dynamax mufflers, electric water pump, GM Performance balancer, Moroso Vacuum pump system, MSD distributor, 8261 msd Coil, MSD 7531 Digital 7 box. HvH carb spacer.
Transking powerglide with Ultra bell. Deep aluminum pan, SS braided trans lines to cooler. Bandit shifter.
Holley pump and regulator, 10 gallon aluminum cell, Davinci 950 4150 carb, SS braided lines from cell to pump.
Pyle brothers of Houston Texas GM 12 bolt with c-clip eliminates, moser axles, Richmond 4:10 gear, stock drive shaft.
Suspension and chassis:
Chris Alston ladder bar rear, 10 point chromoly cage with 8.50 IHRA Cert, competition engineering weld in frame connectors, strange pro race disc brakes on all 4 corners, strange double adjustable coil overs on all 4 corners, flaming river rack and pinion steering. GM production 2" mini tubs
Wheels and tires:
Billet specialties 15x3-1/2 fronts and 15x12 rears with M/T 28x10.5W's
New 1000 CA battery located in trunk, all new battery cables and connections, after market computer controlled hideaway headlight system, all lights, high and dim, blinkers, brake, emergency work as they should on all factory switches.
5" bubble hood and also have a 6" hardwood pin on. Auto Meter mechanical 2-5/8" gauges. Jaz 17" seats with up to date belts, Hurst line lock. All windows roll up and down as well as vent glasses.
The car has been a best ET of 10.55 @ 126 mph with a 300lb driver with the identical motor. Driven occasionally around town with no complications.
The camaro has been a race car most of its life, body could use some TLC even though it is rust and dent free, its been about 20 years since it was painted. The paint isnt horrible but not show quality neither. The rear wheel tubs had minor clearance work done to them for tire clearance, hardly noticeable. Was like that when I bought it. All of the decals and emblems were worn and weathered when I got the car years back so I removed them which left bolt holes open in the fenders and doors. With a decent paint job and a little TLC, you will have a very presentable RS.
