Since 2006 Rock’N’Race (RNR) has been the place to be for nostalgia buffs in Northeast Ohio. Coined as the Woodstock of nostalgia drag racing it is so much more than a race! RNR is a huge car show where you can run your car down the track! There is a swap meet and manufacture midway. There is a stage with 10 bands playing on Friday and Saturday.
There are basically 4 races going on for the weekend so if you have a car that is 1972 and older, there is multiple opportunities for you to participate!
We have a flag start race for the show cars. There is a gamblers race to benefit children’s cancer research. We have heads up racing for all race cars, and we have bracket/index racing for over $10,000 on Sunday. RNR is put on by Gasser Madness LLC and naturally this is the largest gasser race in the country! The gassers even have the opportunity to race the way they were meant to race with actual weight to cubic inch classes just like the mid 60’s.
If gassers pre-register and qualify, they also get some travel money. We do this to attract Gassers from every corner of this country and others!
All this happens one weekend at one of the finest sportsman facilities in the country; Dragway 42 in West Salem, Ohio.
