This engine includes an intake manifold design like no other. “RCS Vertical Port”, a one of a kind intake runner and plenum design exclusively designed by RCS that creates one of the highest average torque curves and widest power bands from any intake manifold on the market today. At RCS AMS we have tested this design for over 3 years and have proven its ability in creating higher torque and increased engine acceleration from our Patent Pending Design.
This engine also includes an RCS 2400 CFM four blade throttle body that allows drivability and tremendous acceleration throughout the power band, with gains of torque of over 100ftlbs in only 100 rpms as witnessed by the SuperFlow dyno operator at the 2016 Engine Masters event.
This engine has the only USA made performance cast iron Ford Cleveland engine block made in America today, designed and casted by Tod Buttermore and fully machined by RCS for use in the 2016 EMC event.
This engine also has the RCS/CHI 248 heads exclusive port and chamber design and CNC machined from CHI’s raw casted heads with RCS designed inline to cylinder injector location. These heads support super-fast air speeds of 500fps at peak torque to 700fps at peak Hp and air speeds of 400fps at 4,000 rpms., creating volumetric efficiency percentages just over 130% throughout the mid to upper rpms.
