This “real” Hotrod was built by NHRA Hall of Fame driver Don Cain. Don built this Hotrod to run 200+ at the Salt Flats. Although he never got around to taking it… He had the car for 8 years before my father bought it and repurposed it for cruising! We have been on multiple long road trips, made a few test passes and cruised it to LOTS of shows... This car is roadworthy, VERY fast and dependable.
Body: Three window, chopped top, suicide doors, fiberglass body, steel grill shell, Brookville steel front fenders and running boards. Power door poppers, power riser for trunk. Car is a beautiful glossy black w/ traditional flames and chameleon ghost flames. The paint has had a top of the line ceramic coating.
Drivetrain: Built 407ci Chevy small block, Brodix Heads, Roller cam, Hilborn Injectors, Engine management with Accell DFI w/ Wide Band 02 Controller, 6 core radiator, MSD, headers, exhaust, etc… Built 4L80 transmission (Compushift Transmission Control Unit)
Chassis: Reinforced and boxed 1932 Frame w/ full roll cage. Complete SoCal front end with 4” dropped axle. Ford 9” rear w/ Detroit locker. 4 wheel Wilwood disk brakes. Custom Wheels Vintique wire wheels powder coated red.
Interior: Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air A/C & Heat, comfortable hand formed seats with lumbar support, Power windows, flamed headliner and door panels.
