Started in 63 playing. Had owened a 62 406 Ford Galaxy with the 3x2 and 4.10 with 4 speed. 63 brought another Ford. This one was a fast back galaxy with the 427 with 2x4s and 4 speed. Next came a 64 Ford Falcon with the 260ci 4speed 2 barrel carb that fit in J/S. It really started my racing career and I was "Hooked". Next came a 65 Ford Fairlane with the 271 HP 289 engine that ran in D/S. We went serious and pulled the motor at 17 miles to blue print, change gears, headers, clutch, ETC to go racing.
The next year I went Chevy because of "cost" to build and maintain.
Ran a 57 210 sedan in J/S(going after my old car) with a 283 2barrel, then changed to a 4 barrel which figured in F/S to go after someone else. Next came an injector on the 283/250 HP to figure E/S. Then we built a 57 panel wagon with the 283 FI rated at 283HP to run D/S.
After that was a progression of 67 Chevelle in C/S-Changed motors to run A/S-fell back to B/S. Went 69 Camaro which was a record holder in B/S in 1970 several times.
