Thanks for sharing the great gallery. I was curious. Here is a note of history for you. I was with the 1st Army combat unit sent to Nam in May of 1965. In May of 1966 Joan Collins was allowed to come to Nam with her body guards to present in person a life time Play Boy member ship key to a combat wounded Infantry Lt. in the 2nd Battalion that had been purchased by the men of his company. Real deal now. Playboy would have this history on their Webb page I would assume. After that the 173rd was sent a plane load of mag's each month from Heffner. The Centerfolds were seen nailed to rubber trees in C & D zone, Iron Triangle & the Ho Bo Woods. Gooks looking at round eyes. Can't you just see them little picker heads looking at those awesome women. We called that area, Picker Zone. take care good buddy, from an old paratrooper.
