About Me -

Member for: 12 years, 3 months, 24 days

I Drag Raced a 67 & 69 camaro and then Drag Raced my 69 Chevelle years ago , and then stopped for awhile. Then in 1988 I built my 69 Chevelle from the ground up, into a tubed chassis S/G , S/C car. Then in 1990 I started racing her again. I had ALOT of fun with the Chevelle , and with her 432cui. stroker SBC , I got her running 8.80 et @ 158 mph with her launching 4'- 5' in the air (WOODY-TIME!!!!). I raced the Chevelle until 2001 and something possessed me to sell it (my sweet #%*#in' wife kept bitchin' about having 2 drag cars).
In 2000 , I had Mike Spitzer build me a 32 Bantam Altered 4-link chassis, fabricated Ford 9" housing and one of his 32 Bantam bodies. Spitzer's chassis , details (etc.) work was awesome.

My New Drag Car I am in the process of finishing up, is a Rick Jones / QuarterMax built double frame rail Pro Stock / Pro Mod chassis for a Firebird/Camaro body. I purchased a 2002 Trans Am Firebird body with carbon fiber and carbon-glass options.

will finish up info , and add pictures at a later date (when I get some time).
