Recently retired due to car vs. motorcycle accident. Like to customize and modify Harleys and older cars and trucks. Bike in profile picture won at 2007 Biketoberfest Rat's Hole Show, centerfold feature in January 2009 Hot Bike Bagger.
Have been a gear head since I was 10 years old, helping neighbors with circle track and drag cars, and riding and working on dirt bikes in my teens. Street raced for many years, always partial to Chevy, with a few Pontiacs scattered in. Have had numerous fast street cars, Camaro's, Chevelles, and Novas and had 2 full-blown drag cars, a big block 67 Camaro I ran Super Rod with, and a small block t- roadster I ran Quick Rod with. Also have worked on pit crews and as crew chief on several cars. Currently have a custom Harley, a dresser that has a 117" Carl's Speed Shop motor that puts 129 hp and 141 ft. lbs. of torque to the ground and more modifications than you could find in several hours of looking. Was fortunate enough to win at the 2007 Biketoberfest Rats Hole Show in Daytona Beach and was fortunate enough to be the primary feature bike, 5 pages of coverage, in the January 2009 Hot Bike Bagger magazine. Also working on 1975 Chevy C10 prostreet truck that had a 462" big block that is currently undergoing a frame off restoration that ran a 12.48 @ 111 mph in street tires through the mufflers. Tore down the motor while apart and found a lot of problems so it will be a fairly nasty 496 cubic inch motor going back in when reassembled with a big shot of Nitrous for good measure, hope to be able to run in 10's on street tires and through mufflers when I get it back together. Been with current spouse for 27 years, bless her soul, and have no children, only 3 spoiled rotten dogs, a bull terrier, or terrorist as my wife calls him, and 2 shar pei's. Attend many local and national cruise-ins, shows and bike rallies, currently just traded my 99 Dyna Lowrider custom for the T Bucket in my gallery and changing several things to make it mine and be more comfortable. Unable to do much work anymore due to constant pain level, can only tolerate being on my feet or walking 10 to 15 minutes max before I have to stop what I'm doing and let the pain ease off. Glad to help anyone with the knowledge I've learned over the years if you have a project you could use some outside input on, love to bench race, B.S. and just generally talk with folks about bikes and hot rods. I don't leave the house much anymore, just hang out trying minimize my pain level, normally don't go to bed till I'm exhausted and can go to sleep past the pain, so I am up till 2-4 AM, so drop me a line if your up, I'll probably answer.
