Began racing at the age of 5 with a big wheel then learned if you made a gocart out of rotted wood it was lighter and faster, then discovered ABCs wide world of sports and if you soaked a rag in gas and stuck it on the end of your gocart it looked like a nitro car on fire and the other kids just stopped and you won.Flash to the early 80s went bracket racing with a 63 chevy 2,first with no frills then rebuilt the car with a narrowed rear and the usual stuff and it went from there.Had it running 10.60s at 137ish and went into S/ST for a while then built a RED for S/C,that evolved into a T/D with a SSRE motor.
At that point we started running a JR car with the kids and finished at best 7th in the program.
Now are running in the mid 6 second zone at 200+ mphish with a AA/A comp car with a blown 359 rodeck making a bucket of power with a PG. The next and current step is to run the LODRS,and Full Throttle schedule. We ran with the HOT RODS FROM HELL for a while,******THIS IS NOT SCOTT JEZAKS OLD ALTERED OR TUNE UP******and are planning to move into a TAFC,the chassis is a legal TAFC chassis by Dean Fazekas of Thunder Race Cars in PA,all components are Mckinney corp, trans by Marco Abruzzi, and the motor is by Dale Hall.We took out the Lenco and clutch set up to slow it down for the index. All paint and body work is by Carroll and Jerry Hine of PA.
We are developing a marketing program to allow us to move up to a TAFC,and with the marketing background I have and having run my own companies in the past, I am able to work with a car owner and or sponsors to develope and create a strong program, I have had the pleasure of a long time association with the same core team, that understands the corporate side of racing and works very well together, and understands the responsibility of this step. We have a very strong tune up that does not brake parts and is well on the conservative side of the scale, while still able to be very aggressive on race day.At this point, our last breakage was a push rod (1) in 1998 and we do not abuse parts and have been shut off on the line only once due to tire shake splitting the fuel cell, and header.
We are currently under contract to drive a NITRO car and looking to relocate PA or to one of the southeastern states.
