Very clean first gen RX-7 with freshly rebuilt 12A street port, Weber IDA 48, aluminum flywheel, exhaust header/lava rock muffler, and brand new fuel pump. 4 hours on fresh professional rebuild 12A. 13x7 Circle racing wheels, full cage, full gauge cluster, 10 gal fuel cell, coil overs on front, 5-way Tokico's around, rear brake bias adjuster. Professionally maintained by 7s Only at Buttonwillow and more recently by Dennis Golden in Norcal. Both will attest to the quality of this car.

Spares: 3 extra matching wheels, 4 extra RA-1s (somewhat used but with plenty of good rubber left), 7's only transmission with 0 hours, new set of front and rear rotors, new front bearings, new set of front and rear Hawk Blue pads, plus the original carb and intake tuned for 5-8K RPM, and the original exhaust manifold for spare.

Estimated 165-170 HP and chassis is 2050 pounds. Car is very clean, very quick and a blast to drive and super easy to work on with inexpensive parts to maintain (especially if you set up a Mazdacomp account). This past weekend I took it out to Thunderhill backwards and ran 2:12-2:14's first time out (I took 2nd in TTD on Saturday first time out on new motor, very little development and 8 TT points to spare). This is one of the nicest handling and clean first gen RX-7s you'll find.

I'm very tempted to keep it because it's so much fun to drive, but I have too many cars to have peace in my home . This could be a great car for someone to compete in Time Trials or Performance Touring, or to garage their street car for track days instead of risking it on track. It is competitive today in TTD/PTD (with 8 points to spare - could lower weight, add bigger tires, and/or more HP), and with a little more development could be an E-Production car in SCCA (has SCCA logbook from Pro-7).
