This is a Nice, Mid Valley NC 500 CMS500 , dog ring, race 4 speed transmission. This is a true clutchless transmission, both up shift & down shift. MVE builds, sells & leases race transmissions to many of the top NASCAR teams in all divisions. Was purchased for Busch racing, used 3 times and is race ready. All hard parts have been mag'd w/ all soft parts and bearings replaced and test run on a trans dyno. The entire gear set, including the input is new! Has all the tricks. Large 32 spline output, fine 29 spline input, T-10 style magnesium case, roller tail, side mount mag cased billet rail shifter & swedged billet aluminum / heim linkage rods all in a very light package. The shift handle is splined and can mount in numerous positions. Ratios are 1.66/ 1.36/ 1.18 /1.1. Was set up for VIR & external oil pump & cooler. Like a Jericho though, there are about 300 ratio variations available. Input can be changed to the more standard 26 spline and ratio's changed at no extra charge. Can be run w/ an external oil pump & cooler. No case repairs, stripped holes or damage of any kind! A very nice piece, doesn't even look used! Cost $7500 new. These are also very popular w/ road course, drift and street racers. Mid Valley has a great 2 disc street / strip clutch for these.
