My name is Scotty Orme. I'm a short track racer from southern Indiana. I've raced for four years with my own team in mini cups and 600cc mini sprints. This season I am going to run selected high-profile Street Stock races at several tracks including Salem Speedway, Kentucky Speedway, Winchester Speedway, and Anderson Speedway. Aside from my own team, I'm trying to get an occasional ride with other teams to get a little more experience as well as build my resume.

It doesn't matter if you're racing dirt or asphalt. I have won on asphalt and had consistent top 5's on dirt. As long as it has four wheels, I'll drive it. (Even if it has three, we can talk. I like playing with the odds against me.) I have a good handle on what adjustments need to be made to make the car better. I also have a knack for getting the most out of whatever I'm driving without abusing the equipment. I have always raced on a very limited budget, and been able to compete with the big-money guys.

I am a very hands-on driver. I handle the mechanical work as well as the business side of things on my own team. I have had several great sponsors that continue to support me, and I do everything I can to make them happy. If I drive for your team, I will gladly work with your sponsors and help build your racing program. Hopefully we can work together to bring more sponsors to the table.

It doesn't matter if you've got a CRA late model team, a USAC midget, or a dirt mini stock, as long as I'm in the driver's seat I'm gaining valuable experience. There are too many cookie-cutter drivers in professional racing today. I always race and act with integrity, but I won't settle for being like everyone else. The Dale Earnhardts and the Tony Stewarts of the world may not make everyone happy, but we remember their names.
