For sale: 1992 GMC Typhoon #1865 located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is one of less than 5,000 ever made (2,500 in 1992 and 2200 in 1993). I have owned this Typhoon since about October of 2007. I brought it from New York where it spent most of its life. The info is:

This AWD 4.3L Turbo V6 has 107k miles, clear title, the motor is all stock, no oil blow-by. Comes with a brand new exhaust that needs to be attached (picked it up that way), a new battery and the transmission was rebuilt right before I bought it (only has about 500 miles on it). Color is white on white with C4 Corvette wheels. The interior is in good shape, no rips or tears in the leather but the headliner is a little rough. When I bought it they guy swore it was never in an accident but as I later found (and have to be honest about) the rear passenger quarter appears to have been patched. Its really only noticeable at certain angles when you are very close to it and there is a dark reflection in the background. Obviously its not the correct color combo from a '92 so it has been repainted. The paint looks good at 6ft away but you see the flaws (they used too much paint) when you put it under close investigation. All cladding is intact and not broken. The A/C does not work. Rear tires are like new, the fronts are prob at 60%.

The Ty fires up on the first crank every time as I just replaced the ignition control module, cap & rotor (MSD with brass points) but it will also come with a set of new Taylor wires and a set of NGK plugs. I think the motor is overboosting, prob due to a vac leak so I have only driven this truck about 5-10 miles and haven't even really go on it. The ABS wasn't working, but I have a spare unit to go with the truck. Also the front suspension will need to be gone over (ball joints and such) and maybe a wheel bearing on the left side will be needed.

I bought this truck since it had a stock motor that wasn't built up. I had planned to go through this truck and restore it all this winter but haven't had the time and now its losing its space in the garage (I just bought a Sy). It needs some TLC and isn't a show truck (yes the bumper cover needs to be adjusted) but it is complete and runs & drives. I haven't really spent much time at all on this Typhoon so please understand I've described it as accurately as I can. I really want this to go to a good home, someone who will rescue her as there arn't many left unmodified. I really do not want to part it out. I'm looking to get $6900, let me know if you have any questions or would like to come and look at it. Not interested in trades.
