The JW Ultra-Bell housing is used to mount a powerglide transmission to a GM power plant. It is manufactured as a one piece aluminum casting and is designed to handle large torsional loads produced by high horsepower engines. The Ultra-Bell is approximately 600 times stronger than stock bell housings and is SFI certified to take the place of a flexplate shield. This Ultra-Bell housing can be mounted on any OEM powerglide transmission or a JW Ultra-Case. The bell housing mounts directly to the front pump through the existing pump bolt holes. The Ultra-Bell housing come complete with mounting hardware (bell housing to motor bolts and bell housing to transmission case bolts).
