'79 Malibu IHRA & NHRA Super Stock or Bra

$20,500.00
1979 Chevy Malibu. Formerly Bob & Nicholas Morris's old car. They won Division 3 Super Stock with their new car in 2007. I have never bought someone else's race car in 40 years because I've built over 100 race cars for other people and myself. However, I saw this car and looked it over very well. The detail and condition was very impressive. The body and paint, which is Black Cherry, is a 9 out of 10. The chassis was built by R&R Chassis in Louisville, KY. They did an excellent job.
Yes, it needed a little updating, which I did, but all in all, its a very well built car for the money. Don't think this car doesn't work. I saw the pictures and ET slips of last year with his wife driving the car in Bracket racing.
This is a bumper dragging, hard leaving 1.36 - 60 ft with the rear tires on a 2 barrel holly carb. It runs 6.40 at 105 MPH.
I am selling this car for several reasons. I am 60 years old. I have no help anymore because my son has other commitments and I'm not as interested in racing for myself. I've been addicted to racing most of my life and its kicking my butt. I am retired and my mind is writing checks that my billfold and body can't cash anymore. Anybody that races a lot knows just what I am talking about.
