Quitting racing. Must see this car to appreciate it.

CAR (may sell as roller):

2006 Jesse Plant Race Cars, 235 inch wheelbase dragster. 22 inch wide driver compartment. This car was custom built for the owner by Jesse and Pete Plant who specialize in lightweight Comp Eliminator cars. This car only weighs 1,575# INCLUDING 230# driver. Certified for Top Dragster (Advanced ET 6.00).

Carbon fiber seat, dash, floor, nose and wing. Also just had the new NHRA mandated belly tray built out of carbon fiber to meet Top Dragster rules. Auto Meter Pro Comp Ultra Lite gauges. Wheelie bar. Eye catching custom flame paint job.

Mittler Bros. fabricated full floater rear with Strange brakes, gun drilled 35 spline axles and spool. Mark Williams through bolt 3rd member with 3.89 Pro gears. Weld Magnum Drag wheels. Hoosier 33.5/16.5S-15 CO7 rear and 22.0x2.5-17 front tires.

Powerglide with Dedenbear case, 1.80 straight cut planetary, Hipster aluminum Pro transbrake, Vasco input shaft, Moroso custom oil pan, Steph's dry sump canister, B&M trans cooler and Biondo Outlaw CO2 shifter. Neal Chance converter.

New Odyssey battery, MSD 7AL3 ignition, Biondo Mega 200 delay box with throttle enhancer. RPM Performance on board data recorder. East Coast alternator.

Saldana radiator with dual fans located forward of cockpit with ShoGun water pump. Stroud parachute and belts. Dragster dolly for loading/unloading/work stand.

This car has a LOT of extras on it and is very well built and maintained. Everything was bought new when this car was built.

ENGINE:

458 cid small block Chevy. Zero runs since .020" bore (now 4.145), new rods, pistons, pins, rings, lifters, springs, etc. I just spent $5k to rebuild the engine and it hasn't even been started yet.

Brodix tall deck (9.518) aluminum block with wide pan rails (+.800) and raised cam (+.391) for long stroke cranks. Sonny Bryant 4.250 billet crank with lightened journals and profiled counterweights. new MGP 6.300 aluminum rods and new 4.145 JE pistons, .990 pro pins and rings. 15.2:1 compression ratio. new Crower roller lifters. Weaver 5 stage dry sump pump (4 scavenge, 1 pressure). Moroso dry sump pan with three scavenge ports and Steph's dry sump can included.

Brodix GB2300 13.5 degree heads and sheet aluminum intake manifold custom built by Ron's Porting Service in St. Louis, MO. Flow sheets available. T&D 1.7:1 shaft rocker system. Titanium valves and new Comp springs. Heads are drilled and tapped for optional down nozzles and intake has bungs in runners for injector nozzles.

Two Ron's Flying Toilets fed by Waterman 450 cam driven fuel pump. Comp Cams camshaft and adjustable belt drive. Ron's Primer Plus (start and idle on 93 octane pump gas). MSD crank trigger, distributor and wires.

Fab Shop large radius, down swept, step headers, 2.125/2.250 primaries and 4 inch collectors. (2) EGT ports and (2) O2 sensor ports. Brand new Jet Hot coating.

This is a well built, well maintained, quick, fast car/engine combination for someone who wants a first class piece. Need to see in person to appreciate. In 2007 it ran a best of 7.328 @ 182.75 in a 1,575# dragster. Anticipate it to run 7.20's in 2008 with the changes made during this winter.

Best 1/8 mile time of 4.653 would improve with gear/converter change but the car is set up to run double duty... both 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile. Best 60' was 1.051 and typical 60' times are 1.06 range.

Sell as complete race ready car for $39,995. May consider selling as roller. Very quick, consistent and winning car.

I plan on racing the car if it doesn't sell prior to season. It can be seen at the NHRA Spring Sportsman Open in St. Louis on 3/28-30 if it hasn't sold by then.

Delivery may be available.
