Team Grit Awards:
Road Atlanta – David Pintaric, a TA rookie after racing TA2 last year, is the driver/owner of the No. 57 Kryderacing/Carbo Tech Brakes/WRP Investments Chevrolet Corvette. David overcame some tough luck and bad breaks in the first two races, plus a mechanical issue early in week 3, but ultimately stuck with it and persevered, coming in 3rd for his first ever TA podium finish.
Canadian Tire Motorsports Park – Norm Betts, a TA3 International rookie, is the driver/owner of the No. 82 Corvette in his first pro season. At CTMP his car completely broke down and he was forced to go to a backup, which was located 10 hours away across the border in Michigan. He drove to the shop, picked up the backup, and returned to the track, managing to run the entire race with no issues.
