And if anyone should know, it was the designer who put American car manufacturing on its head with the introduction of the GTO back in 1964 – America’s first ‘muscle’ car.     the 69 was a nice car but my favorite GTO was the 1966 with 3 duce carb or twin 4 carbs 4 speed car

        miss my 66 but if I still had could not afford right gas for it got a 65 ford galaxy 4 door H/T no post car if I fix it up will have same problem unless I change heads fixed that problem on my 77 F100 put a motor out of 89 mustang gt and carbed it
