As one of the first Pro Stock teams to hit the track in 2016, Gray Motorsports will continue its partnership with global leader Valvoline motor oil, a business unit of Ashland, Inc. for the upcoming Mello Yello Drag Racing season.
Joining Gray Motorsports for several races will be Nova Services, a company that specializes in serving the needs of the oil and gas industry since 1989 as a growth-oriented family company focused on customer service, technology, innovation, and diversification. They are a prominent drilling fluids company capable of doing business anywhere in the continental United States with an executive staff averaging 30-plus years in the business.
Valvoline has signed on for the entire year while Nova Services will sponsor Gray’s Chevrolet Camaro in at least four races, including the season opener in Pomona, Calif., Feb. 12-14.
“Everyone at Valvoline has been great and they’ve been an excellent partner for Gray Motorsports. We’re thrilled that they’re back for anther season with us,” Gray said. “And adding Nova Services is special. My family has known Ken Bromley, the owner of Nova Services, for a long time, and we’re hoping to provide them with additional exposure that will help their business expand this year.”
Gray Motorsports will continue their preseason testing in the upcoming weeks preparing for the Circle K NHRA Winternationals starting Friday, February 12 at the Auto Club Raceway at Pomona.
