This past weekend at Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, California, the National Hot Rod Diesel Association (NHRDA) season opened with the Spring Diesel Nationals. The weather was fine and the diesel was great.
Daniel Pierce took the Super Street title with a 9.22ET.
With his 1984 Chevy, Alex Torres of Tulare Calif. won the Burnout Contest.
Jay Lynch claimed the Super Stock Diesel award in his ’07 Dodge with a 12.52ET.
Ryan Miliken and his Batmobile beasted in Pro Stock Top Speed and Low ET with a time of 9.63 and a top speed of 131.88 MPH.
Brian Bauman of Flagstaff, Ariz. won the 10.90 Index class.
