On January 4th 2015, the Dakar Rally officially waved the green flag and got things underway. Over 600 competitors showed up at the starting line in Buenos Aires, ready to take on the 37th annual rally. These fearless racers will trek across 5,661 miles of South American soil stretching over Argentina, Bolivia, and Chile.

Most of the terrain will be over inhospitable land with unfavorable conditions. With competitors racing in everything from cars and trucks, to dirt bikes and quads, this is one of the most strenuous and demanding endurance races out there.
