4000 stall?

Default 4000 stall?

is 3800-4000 Stall too much on the street?
3700 lbs 500 hp sbc 4.88 gears

Don't stab an taller gears in it though and do any highway cruisin. That high a stall and tall gears would not let the 'verter lock up and it'd burn it's self up in short order.(From a buddies personal experiences. Changed out 3 'verters before he had a light bulb moment , switched to a lower stall, problem fixed.)

I would run a very efficient cooler and maybe a trans temp gauge.

I would ask you, why would you want to? If your going out to do a street race that is one thing, but just to ride around making noise, not good on the wallet.

I sure would not do it.
