Did a gear pack change with a complete oil drain, have put in three quarts and has not flowed out filler hole. Keep going or hold off???? Thanks for the reply

I know this sounds pretty basic but, is the rear axle housing LEVEL? If one side is lower, it'll fill up the entire housing tube on the low side.

everything I have says 2 to 2 1/2 quarts. Do you have a stock 9", are you filling in the stock hole or has someone welded a filler on the top?
