blower carb question

Default blower carb question

running a 871 blown 509 in a tube shassis beretta,i am looking to change carbs currently running demon dominators,have spoken to pro systems they are recommending 2 1060 to 1100 carbs,i dont know if i want to go with them or the new all aluminum 0-9377-rd dominators which are about 10 lbs lighter for the pair.let me know what you think.this is a gas set up.

I would never use an out of the box Dominator and expect it to work great, I would not use them on a blown engine and especially a pair of them. There are some substantial changes that need to be made to the metering, if you are patient and have a wideband O2 system on it they can be made to work. My preference would be a pair of 7320's, they will still need work but will be better for what you are using them on. If you are not good with tuning, my choice would be to get a pair from BLP carbs.
