Default oil leak

first off engine is fresh i just started it last night
rings, bearings, springs, lifters, rocker arms, valve job and all new gaskets
head gaskets are copper sce titans with the sealant made onto the gasket
compresson fine , runs fine,no coolant leaks,
left head at rear has oil leak not major car sat outside in driveway not running for about 3 hrs and i noticed an oil spot about 2 inches in diameter
more of a slight sepage than a leak
WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS OTHER THAN REPLACING HEAD GASKETS
THANKS IN ADVANCE

Chances are it is NOT a head gasket. Check everything else first, valve covers, dist., seals, timing chain cover, pan gasket, etc.

It might've run down from the rocker cover gasket.

You have to put a touch of silicon on the top corner of the head gasket, ususally they do not reach the intake surface and create a small leak. Are you referring to the drivers side?

What engine are we talking about?

Could also be the oil galley plug that sits under the cylinder head.

Yep, that's what I was thinking. I saw a guy fold over the corner of a head gasket on the intake side once, and it leaked like that too...

Default oil leak

thanks to all
its a 565 bbc block is o ringed NOS 2 systems
it is somewhere in the back lower drivers side
have checked all the way down from valve cover [no leak]intake down[no leak]
tracked it down to an area mid to bottom of head[rear of engine] to the area where the block is exposed
wasnt thinking earlier propably should run it without vacuam pump to attempt to locate leak going out there now
anyone know any pros & cons of Bars Leak oil sealer

Bars Leak... hate that stuff. I would not even call it a good band-aid. Sounds like a nice set up & you have a lot of hard work & money tied up in it... it would be a shame to have that crap in that motor. Best of luck to you & these guys here will be a wealth of knowledge. Scooter

Check oil pressure send units and oil lines. Check around distributor, might have left the gasket off the distributor.

Default oil leak

thanks for all the input and info BUT heads are coming off definently coming from between head and block and like Rigsby pointed out so so much money put out already not going to use a bandaid to get by
hopefully can get new gaskets and have running again for track Friday and dipping into the 7s
AGAIN THANKS TO ALL
