Default shock adjustment

Hey guys , I aquired a pair of chassis engineering coil over shocks with the dampening knob on the bottom mount. does anyone know the correct procedure of adjusting these things???which way is stiffer , etc....thanks in advance , Paul

My QA-1 rear coil overs full counter clock is soft and start clicking and it will get stiffer. Later J.Smith 4621racing

Turn the knob fully in one direction on both shocks and lift the rear of the car by hand to see how it feels. Then turn the knob all the way in the other direction and lift the car again. You'll see whether it feels harder of easier to lift.

Sorry to highjack but since we are talking about coil overs...

How does a ladder bar car react with them too soft vs how it reacts when they are too stiff? I bought my car as a roller years ago and it works well,so I have never had to mess with them.
