Default Jim Winters JR. of Winters Racing in Northwood Iowa

This would be a follow-up to my previous post.
Sent money back in January to have a rear end built. Then didnt hear from him for months. Turns out he was in trouble with the law. He sent a letter to me while he was in jail and said as soon as he got out he would make things right. Gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited. Once I seen he was posting on Racing Junk again I contacted him. He said he would send the money back as soon as he could, he used MY money to post his bail. Again, benefit of the doubt, people are generally honest and will do the right thing. Hadnt heard anything from him so I called and explained who I was and wanted to know where my money was. He promptly hung up. I called back, just in case his signal was lost, it went straight to his voice mail. I left a message stating that I had hoped he was going to do the right thing and take care of the problem like a honest man but it appeared he wasnt and the next person he would be hearing from would be a lawyer. My lawyer is trying to secure an in state attorney now. If you want to take a risk send him money, maybe he will actually follow through for you.
