Default How to id a SBC camshaft? I know, tough

This is a cam I have on an engine I bought. I know it was a mild performance rebuild on a 400 with 5.7 rods and KB pistons. The machine shop that bored the motor also supplied the cam. Guy who had it built thought is was about 512 lift. It could be a house brans special. Kind of a long shot, but can't hurt to ask.

Any thoughts on the make or info based on these numbers?

If nobody would care to speculate, is there a forum you can recommend which might know?

Thanks!

You can send the camshaft to any camshaft manufacturer and have them cam doctor it, this will tell you exactly what it is.

So it sounds like the 310-2H is a Crane Cams grind number. I can't find exact specs.

Thanks for the help so far!
