Patriot Heads? 400 sbc on a budget.
Are theses patriot heads any good? Better than procomp? Im looking to build a low budget 400 drag racing only motor. Still stock rods and pistons, Any suggestions? on everything. Its going in a 95 s15. tubbed Reg cab shortbed. Thanx.

Carl, i like those heads, hadn't seen them before. The flow #'s are better out of the box than Brodix Track 1's, CNC ported by Brodix. Looks like they could be a good blower motor head in the solid version also. Thanks for posting them.

I have been looking at them for quite a while and considering them on some of the up coming builds.

I did a 350 budget engine & chose to use patriot heads over the procomps because they were a better looking casting, although both are cast in China I believe. I bought them bare & added my valves etc that I already had. overall I am happy with them.

I'd like to see a set of patriots on my flow bench. Looking at pictures I can find on the web, I'm just not seeing 295CFM. Overall port design leads me to believe they would be right around 260 out of the box.

AFR heads are an awesome head out of the box..
Dart and RHS are a good strong second.
