Is there anyone in Monterey California who feels like looking at a car for me?

I just need a quick inspection, floor pans, rockers and trunks looked at- fire it up and run it through the gears-

Would like a quick inspect before I send the guy some serious coin.

I need some digital pics of the areas you checked- and I will cover you for time and gas.

NY and i thought, if i could get the car here by a member in

Ok so here's the deal.

Told this guy I wanted to have an inspection done on the car before I wired him $10k. Told him I will take it pending inspection.

He says nevermind I have two legit buyers, and dusts me off.

Then I get an email saying, neither showed he needs quicK cash so he will let me send an inspector.

Now this was a nice car, the guy has a lot of nice stuff for sale and is a regular poster on several bulletin boards.

So I think about it and then realize that heres what was going to happen; I was going to drop $400 for an inspection, and while I was waiting for results, someone was going to walk up with cash in hand and buy that car.

So I told him I'd call, but held off and lo and behold he posted he sold it today.

I'd have been out that $400 and he would have sold the car right out from under me.

Lesson learned?

None.

It was a friggin NICE car.
