Default title for old race car - HELP!

here we go -
want to register my race car, no papers for years
old cars need a bill of sale and current/old registration from someone to me.

Broadway Title has new requirements - vehicle inspection and VIN verification - wtf? my car is not ready for either(still in progress) and once registered does not need either!

anybody know another way?
thanks

In Georgia, any vehicle over 10 years old requires no title. A bill of sale and inspection of VIN by any police/sheriff/state patrol officer will get you a tag.

Connecticut it's a 1966

website says "vehicles built prior to 1981 do not require a title"
so maybe a bill of sale will do......

what kind of car is it?
Here in texas i can get a bonded title for 250 and in two years the bonded part goes away...
Easiest fix, buy a title for a similar year car from someone

maybe the bonded title idea could work, but any title used must match the VIN on my car - not just a similar vehicle.
