how do you wire in a netural saftey switch
i have a hurst quarter stick shifter and i need to wire in a saftey switch the switch is allready in the shifter? thanks

The switch is placed between wire that runs from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid.

You actually want it between the starter button and the solenoid. Not the ignition switch!

He never stated that he was using a push button, so I told him the basic hook up so he could adapt it to his own use.

Dave, you are correct, but it still needs to be wired in the "start" circuit not the ignition circuit. That was what I was pointing out.

thanks guys,wired in switch today and works fine getting ready for the united outlaw series coming here to huntsville alabama the first week of oct.
