Any LSX experience here??
I have caught the LSX fever!!! I see AFR has heads for the LSX that are cathedral ports that flow in the 350s at 600 lift! Wow Im there, how awesome is that! I have never been on the front end of such a new development but I think Im going to have to bite off a wad of this. The first thing that raised my eyebrows was when my head porter (who does head work for the Elliots and GM) said that Ernie built a dodge street motor over 400 inches that made 800hp with this late technology nascar cyl heads they are developing. I think the LSX stuff could do the same thing if I could get around a expensive learning curve. Its already going to be expensive enough. I dont think a 427 LSX will have any trouble at all with a 245cc head on pump gas. Not that head especially. Who has some experience with this platform?/
Thanks

Shouldn't be too hard. There's an article from Feb 06 where they got 600 HP from a cam, headers and swapping to a carb on an LS7.

I really like the LS engines... They take alot of abuse and can be driven daily... My guess on pump gas you will need a 200 shot of NOS or more to get the 8 hundred horsepower... keep us posted on the results, I want to hear about it... novaman

Curtis Boggs just came out with a porting program for an LSx designed around making 1100 HP n/a.
