How much nitrous can be used on a "pump gas" engine? 200? 300? ?????400 :x :x

Dennis are you asking how Much NOS can be run on 92 octane fuel or How much NOS can be Run thru a Pump gas (low compression) Motor using High octane Racing Fuel ?

Just keep adding until it blows up, rebuild it and pill it down a hair from where it blew at and you'll be fine. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

not a lot...i think Nos phamplet says up to 100hp NOS on 93 octane...then from there they suggest the better gas...

you would still need to back out about 4 degrees of timing to be safe at 100 shot with 93 octane


it would also depend where your static compression is...example: 7:1 can probaly handle a little more than a 10:1 static compression motor....and both engines are Pump gas...one is just on the low end while the other is on the higher end.

How often you plan to spray it may by something to consider also
I have sprayed 150 on 92 pump maybe 8-10 times over a 5yr period
On my 11.5:1 406 runs 10:30s on 92 9:70 on 150/92
Pulled the motor down twice over the 5yr’s just to check the bearings
And they looked great so back together it went
