Glad you found your problem. Good luck finding anyone who messes with cars that hasn't done something embarrassing. ops:

Not easy owing up to a boo-boo like that, I'm sure you'll never make that mistake again, admitting to it shows character.
Just goes to show though, you can never take somebody elses word for anything, always double check.

I bet them 202's were up off the seat alittle huh?

So did you get them seats cut for the 202's or did you go back with 194's?

went back to 194s.machinst scared me by saying my heads were notorious for hitting water. thanks

Curtis is right on. Everybody makes mistakes and by following this thread it will remind me to double check my parts prior to head assembly. If you are not learning, you may be dead.
