Default Motor mounts

I was wondering what you guys with dragsters use to attach your motor mount plates to the frame rail? Mine are attached with srew clamps. Are they strong enough or should I chage them out to something else?
Thanks

Sure hope you don't mean hose clamps! Are you using actual mounts or a motor plate. If you are using mounts , I'd go to plates. I would weld the brackets for the plates.

MY MID PLATE IS BOLTED TO TABS THAT ARE WELDED TO THE FRAME , THE FRONT MOTOR PLATES ARE BOLTED TO SADDLES THAT SIT ON TOP OF FRAME WITH BAND CLAMPS AROUND THEM , NOT WORM DRIVE HOSE CLAMPS...THEN I HAVE ENGINE LIMITERS THAT BOLT TO TABS ON THE FRAME AND THE MOTOR MOUNT HOLES IN BLOCK TO STOP BACK AND FORTH MOVEMENT...

THATS THE WAY MINE ARE....EVERY DRAGSTER I HAVE EVER SEEN IS THIS WAY IN ONE FORM OR ANOTHER..ONLY THE MID PLATE IS ACTUALLY BOLTED TO FRAME..I HAVE A BAND CLAMP ON FRONT PLATE SADDLE , NOT HOSE CLAMPS..THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE...

Maniac is spot on, and the clamps are called t-bar clamps. Funny car engines are put in the car this very way, they hold the engines in them...Well, most of the time.

Thanks guys.
My mid-plate is bolted to the frame rails but I will change the front worm type clamps to 'T-bar' clamps. The worm type clamps didn't look strong enough. That's why I asked you experts!
