 ....obsessed kind of limited with those heads and compression ratio...if it makes 500hp i'll be surprised...but will make up for it with torque...my guess maybe 400hp an 500ftlbs of torque...not too bad for a tow vehicle...all that tq will be down low which is good....

I would say somewhere around 450-500. Will you let us know after you dyno it? Thanks

It'll be on a the chassis dyno at the shop. Previously it made 340 at the tire. That was at a 476ci with the diffances being a tad smaller cam like 224 e and i @ 50. Be intersesting

I thought you had rectangle heads on that??? I think it will be in the 540-550.

On a side note one of my old "stock" motors had some port work done to the 781 heads, 9.75:1, hydraulic camd and made 576 hp on Wheelers dyno....on 92 gas.

We just did a 496 with this same set up, dart 308 heads, engine made 555 hp and 615 torque with quick fuel 850.
Compression was 9.0:1 had flat tops.
Cam had just a little more duration, around 230 @50 but lift was only .510

The heads are a closed chamber factory head old 206 casting. Its got some very extensive port and chamber work to get valves unshrouded. They CC at 110.
