Default Dumb Question-

I have a TH350 on BBC. It is manual valve body w/ stall & shift kit. All is well... works fine.

My question: It has a modulator on the trans, but NO vac. hose on the modulator... where there is a hose connection on the modulator it is bare (you can see the adj screw) but it is not plugged. Why??? Do I need it? Why is it there if it is not hooked up? etc... Thanks/all. Scooter

Hey Scooter, since you have a manual valve body and you shift it manually you don't need a vacuum supply to the modulator. Hope that helps.

Default Modulator

I think it is probably there just to keep the tranny fluid on the inside. Don't need it with a manual valve body.

Does anyone make a modulator block-off to eliminate it?
