Default AutoMeter Tach Problem

Hey GUys,

I'm having problems with my 5" Autometer tach.
Its on my 68 camaro and it doesn't always work right.

Sometimes the needle just slowly starts to rise and then it falls down and starts again. I pulled off the cover and I can fix the problem by pushing in on the two black wires that goto the shift light. I can't see any damage on the soldering but this does fix the problem.

I put it back together and it works fine for a while until it wiggles or vibrates a little.

Anyone had this problem?

Wondering if I should attempt to resolder these wires to the board?

I would send it back to Autometer. Let them fix it and then it will be right. JMO
