    MSD RPM PROBLEM

I have a MSD RPM activated switch that I am hooking up to a Biondo electric shifter and I can't get the solenoid to latch. I downloaded a wiring diagram from MSD but I was wondering if anyone had any tips on what I might be doing wrong? Thanks.

Are you running your wire to the ground side of the silenoid?

I ran the yellow wire of the MSD Switch to the black wire of the solenoid and a 12v hot wire to the red wire on the the solenoid.

I believe the grey wire breaks a ground and the yellow makes a ground. Usually on air shifters the RPM atvtd switch makes a ground to make the silenoid activate and on electric, especially spring loaded silenoids, they make a connection to hold it down then the RPM activated switch breaks the ground to release the spring loaded silenoid.

After I looked at your racespace I saw that I had you on my friends list, not that I have to many of those. I really like your truck. If I can help in any way fill free to pm me. If its to detailed I'll shoot you my cell # and we can talk about it over the phone. take care.......
