Default My experience with RJ user- 1967c2

Since we slay (I wish) the corrupt, I thought a good post would be cool. I haven't asked him if I could reveal his real name, so I am not. He goes by 1967c2.

I drove from NC to his home in Va, approx 3 hours one way, to trade some bbc stuff for a set of buckets for my '68 Nova. He did everything I would expect a seller to do, great communication, attitude, etc. His description was beyond good, the seats were much nicer than I had anticipated! The only thing I will have to do is add a small piece of trim and install the headrests (and he told me this BEFORE I left NC), everything else on the seats is perfect! I couldn't ask for a deal to have gone any better. If you have had a bad experience with this guy, I would be very suprised!

When I left, I had forgotten the hardware for the headrests, I received them in the mail very shortly afterward.

Thanks again 1967c2!

Hey Rudy,
We're building a 1970 Nova, and in need of the side windows crome molding, both sides, do you have any of these laying around? We're about 80 hrs. from paint, absolutely no rust, no bondo. It will be up for sale when finished.
I know we can buy the trim after market for about $240.00, but if someone has it and not useing it that's better.

Thanks for the offer Mopar, but I would never use it. Besides, I am sort of wondering, after being mixed in with your Mopar stuff, well, if maybe, well, you know..............could it be contaminated?
Just kidding man, I like your Mopars!

OOPS!!!
Ron beat me too it, but i personally donot need it, but there is a friend at Twin Cities that runs a 69 cuda with a 360. I donot know if he has FG bumpers, but he always runs the throttle stop to run 9.90, he can actually run 9.40's. I am going to Twin Cities Friday nite to try to improve on the 66 Biscyne street car. It's pump gas 468 and has run 10.70's with street slicks muffers off. I'm going to try to get this 3700lb slug into the 10.50's which i think would be awsome, for a car that you can drive to Sonic, listen to music, eat your burger and then drive back home. I built the motor about 3 mos. ago but have only been to the track 2 times sorting it out. Best so far is 10.78@123mph. Hopeing to do better.
