i have a 383 stroker chevy.with iron heads 202 & 1.60,292 501 cam, flat tops,650 pumper, what is a good alum. head to run on street i found a set of holley heads ready to bolt on $1000 is that good deal new at local shop
Dart has one of the best castings as far a quality. Any reason for aluminum? Iron makes more power all else being equal. What do you expect, and will you run street only or race any?
I got Brodix RR180 on my 383. My motor made 428hp, 460lbs with a small hydraulic roller cam, 10.5-1. RPM air gap, and a 750dp. AFR or Brodix i would stick with. The new AFR 195 is a really good head for street.
